As I reflect upon the past year, I am reminded of the prayer used during funerals which says, … For to your faithful people, O Lord, life is changed, not ended… Over the past months, our lives have changed and sadly, for some our sisters and brothers, COVID did end their earthly lives.Īs society prepares to open back up again, we must continue to remember those for which the pandemic has forever altered their lives. During the COVID pandemic, our lives were turned upside down and around, things we took for granted, like a sharing a meal or hugging family members were no longer possible. The approval and distribution of a COVID vaccine has breathed new life into our world.
